Easter Egg-travaganza
Happy Easter to you all. David, Lilly and I had an excellent Easter. We travelled up to Bentonville Arkansas (Walmart world) and stayed with Todd and Christine and their family. The kids got to play together, and the adults got to hang, bike, and chat together. David helped Todd at his bike shop, in his attic, and went on a bike ride. Lilly had a tea fort party, hunted for eggs, rode a trike, a bike, and a scooter. And Chris and I got to chat about anything mommy. We had a great time.

Thank you Uncle Sam
This just goes to show that Uncle Sam takes too much of our taxes. But this time we actually got a good deal of it back. We were able to get a new table and chair set, enough to buy 6months worth of food storage, and some left over to build a space in the attic for the food. So thank you uncle sam. I am so happy to have a table large enough to invite actuall families over for dinner. Now I can actually make friends (a lot easier). Or if anyone wants to take a vacation in Texas we have rooms to spare and now plenty of chairs to sit in.

Lilly's Second
I'm finally posting Lilly's second birthday. She was really excited about this one. There is such a difference between first birthday and second birthday. She knew what she wanted and she could communicate it too. Again she wanted a ballon, which might become a tradition. She just loves getting a ballon for her birthday. It was a great day. We did some fun things with her friends, had some of her favorite cereal (PB captn crunch) and favorite foods, then cake ice cream and presents. Missing in the picture are the cars she picked out with some B-day money from grandma.
Crafty Fun
So I finally made a pouch for all my plastic grocery bags. The thing that finally got me motivated was my first freezer meal group. Even though it was a small group, i was hoping for more people, but it turned out really well. My second fun project was a calendar for Lilly. We got to do the day and date of each day, the weather, and what special activities we will do for the day. Its a great visual. I'm not sure what my next project will be but I'm excited about starting to teach things to Lilly. She seems to want to learn and she absorbs so much.

Our newly Decorated Bathroom
It has been a long process of trying to make up our minds and agree on something we both like. And after painting it twice and running all around town for the crafty projects. It is finally done and it doesn't look too bad. We already had the Gold curtain and the potted plant. And the paintings is something that I have been wanting to try myself. Its just canvas, old paint and a nice stencil that matches the gold curtain (though you can't tell in the picutres). Enjoy and happy decorating.

Snowboarding, Skiing, and Sledding in Colorado
So David, Lilly and I took a fun family vacation to Colorado to snowboard, ski, and sled. David has been dying to go somewhere and hit the slopes so we went with his brother and sister-n-law. It was great because we got to hang out with their family and have fun in the snow. Lilly enjoyed her first real experience with snow and handled it like a champ. Although we didn't find ski boots in her size she still had fun sledding on a snowboard with David. And she looked so cute in her snow suit. It also so happened that we were on the same slopes as David's Grandfather Bell when we did ski training for the army. Enjoy the pictures.

Tub sliding
Here is a cute video of Lilly sliding in our master tub. She is just having a ball. Enjoy.
