Well a lot has happened since the last post. Mid October David, Lilly, and I took a spontaneous vacation to Illinois. We spent 1 day and 2 nights with Mom and Dad in Rockford. Relaxation was the agenda after a 15hr drive and Lilly throwing up in the van. Don't worry we had bowls and no we did not take pictures. Gratefully mom and dad still took us in and we feed ducks and ate at Chuck-e-cheese. And we were lucky to see mom before she left to babysit the Simmons' kids. Thanks mom and dad for putting up with us. Next we swung on over to Nauvoo and spent a couple days seeing the sights. It was a little rainy so we didn't see everything and thus we didn't take a lot of pictures (but knowing me i don't take a lot of pictures to begin with). After getting home and doing laundry etc Lilly and I went to a pumpkin patch. They had the works; cartoon cutouts, kiddy hay maze, hay ride, 2 bounce houses, 3 blow-up slides, pumpkin patch, and more. Finally, Lilly and I got to go trick or treating. She was excited although not evidently in the pictures. She maybe wondering why we taking pictures instead of getting candy. We went down one street and a cul-de-sac in one hour and got 3/4 full of her pumpkin bag. Of course David and I helped her eat the candy. The last pictures are of her wanting to wear her snow boots and snow suit. Poor girl lives in Texas.

Enjoy-

Lilly is so sweet and so beatutiful. I love that her jacket still fits from last year. With her gorgeous blonde hair the red coat looks stunning on her.

Traveling with throw up kids is no fun, but I am glad you were able to make the 15 hour trip. I cannot believe Illinois is only 15 hours from Dallas. I thought it would be a lot farther.
